In this material we have collected games to improve your child's memory. Don't forget that memory is a very difficult tool. If forced to work under pressure, a child’s memory is worse.

Here is a list of games to train a child's memory (suitable for children of 6-7 years). If the games seem too simple, it is possible to complicate the rules.
- What was added? Draw a simple picture. Show it to the child, then ask them to turn away. Add a detail to the picture (for example, add a tail to a cat or smoke to a chimney). Then ask the child to look at the picture again and point to what has changed. The task will train logic and visual attention skills.
- What disappeared? This game is similar to the one mentioned above, but this time you should draw with a pencil or a marker on a white board, because you will remove a detail instead.
- Disappeared-appeared. This game trains memory. Prepare a set of toys. For the first stage, it’s better to have different toys. Arrange the toys and ask the child to remember them. Now, ask the child to turn away and add/remove one toy. It’s possible to change the order of the toys as well to complicate the task. Another way to complicate the task is to use toys of the same set (for example, Kinder-surprise toys) or, as in our example, different toys.
- Arrangement. Find several suitable boxes to use for this task. Put one toy in each box. The task is to remember which toy belongs in each box. As the child turns away, take the toys out. Then arrange them in their correct house again together with the child.
- Details. Tell your child a short story. When you are finished, ask the child to remember a detail about the story. For example, ask about the color of the hero’s clothes or what flowers the hero was gathering in the forest.
- Features. Ask a child to list as many features of an orange, or other item, as possible (orange, round, juicy, etc.).
- A cunning artist. Draw a picture with lots of details and hide letters in it. Ask your child to find the hidden letters
All these games were created for logic and memory stimulation. They will train and improve the memory of your child!
